A classic pub quiz with a Climate Week twist

Hundreds of pubs, offices and community groups across the UK hosted the Climate Week Pub Quiz during Climate Week 2013.

Thank you to everyone who took part which included over 260 organisations!

The Climate Week Pub Quiz is an easy and fun way to be part of Britain’s biggest climate change campaign. It is completely free of charge to host and takes a witty look at environmental issues.

The quiz lasts for 60-90 minutes (including marking time). Rounds of questions are in traditional pub quiz categories such as Music, Sport, and Geography.

A taster of questions:

  • Which singing superstar from Barbados was seen on the London Underground in 2011, travelling to her own concert at the 02 Arena?
  • Which watery anthem was the first Take That single released after Robbie Williams’ return to the band in 2010 ?
  • In 2009 the town of Cockermouth suffered severe flooding which required 200 people to be rescued by helicopter and boat. Which English county is it in?
  • How much of the food consumed in the UK is imported? A) 10% B) 25% C) 50% D) 75%
