Campaigns that have helped to create changes in behaviour or attitude. - Best Climate Ready Initiative
Innovative or effective projects and organisations which help society adapt to the effects of a changing climate. - Best Community Initiative
Recognising effective projects bringing about change or mobilising people to act at a local level to build sustainable communities. - Best Educational Initiative
Innovative schemes engaging pupils and students on climate change and ways to combat it. - Best Initiative by a Governmental or Statutory Body
Recognising effective initiatives to help combat climate change by government departments and statutory bodies. - Best Initiative by a Large Business***
Initiatives, products and services by large businesses that are making workplaces more sustainable, reducing an organisation’s carbon footprint, or using their influence positively to help combat climate change. - Best Initiative by a Public or Uniformed Service
Recognising effective initiatives to help combat climate change in healthcare, the emergency services, and the military. - Best Initiative by a Small or Medium-Sized Business**
Initiatives, products and services by small or medium-sized businesses that are making workplaces more sustainable, reducing an organisation’s carbon footprint, or using their influence positively to help combat climate change. - Best Local Initiative
Recognising effective initiatives to help combat climate change by local government and regional bodies. - Best New Product
Exciting new low-carbon products or services. - Best Technological Breakthrough
Bold new technological innovations helping to advance a low-carbon future. - Most Inspirational Leader
Outstanding leadership that has transformed or progressed an organisation or community’s approach to combating climate change - Most Inspirational Young Person*
Recognising the next generation of leaders taking action on climate change.
* Nominees must have been 25 or under on 30 Januray 2013
